PUMP $1B COPPERSTRING IN QUEENSLAND'S ALLOCATION

Queensland could see a major injection in the region's infrastructure with reports of a potential $1 billion allocation to the CopperString project in the upcoming spending review. The CopperString project is a proposed electricity transmission that would run from Mount Isa to Townsville, delivering much-needed transmission capacity for the state.
